The Response Mechanism of Crystal Orientation to Grain Boundary Dislocation under Uniaxial Strain: A Phase-Field-Crystal Study

An exploration of dislocation microstructure evolution with different misorientation angles was performed using phase field crystal method (PFC). The microcosmic process grain boundaries under external stress, as well the corresponding energy curve and stress–strain curve, are analyzed. relationship between angle dislocations emission frequency is discussed. Three forms reaction on 6° 10° analyzed in detail, which respectively type I semi-annihilation, II semi-annihilationand full-annihilation. Among them, nature semi-annihilation a combination single edge left. essence pair other leaving two dislocations. full-annihilation that pairs or opposite Burger vectors react each distortion area disappears. When 10°, motion ability system stronger than 6°. peak related to number proliferations process. average density greater causes plastic deformation revealed certain extent by curves.
